SHIPPING RATES and POLICIES

Please read the following policies.  If you have any questions, please email us before placing your order.

Best Ornaments.net held its postage rates since May 2008 without increase to the customer.  However, due to additional postal increases by the U.S. Postal Service, Best Ornaments had to increase its shipping rates in 2010.  The new rates are shown below.

 
  SHIPPING RATES:

Shipping costs are determined based on the number of items to be shipped.    

  • Each finial counts as two items due to its size/ height.
  • Glass ornaments that are sold as a pair count as one item.
  • Single glass ornaments count as one item.
  • Smokers count as one item.
  • Tea light candle holders count as one item.

Shipments of more than 9 items cost $22.75 plus $1.50  extra per each additional item.  In the case of large orders, shipment may be made by UPS. In that case, an email will be sent indicating the actual shipping and handling costs.  Usually, UPS is less expensive than Priority Mail by USPS when the package reaches a large size box.

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING POLICY

 
We ship throughout the United State at this time.  With additional charges for postage and duty, shipment may now be made to Canada. 

However, if your order is extensive, please contact us and we may be able to make arrangements to other destinations.

We normally use USPS Priority Mail for shipments in the United States but may use UPS ground for large orders. 

Blown glass ornaments are wrapped in bubble wrap, placed into USPS priority rate boxes and spaces filled with Styrofoam shipping peanuts.

All shipments must be opened and inspected upon delivery. We are not responsible for damages reported 12 days or more after the ship date.

Shipping costs are not included in the listed price of the item.  Please see shipping charges in above table.

Michigan residents will be charged 6% sales tax.

If any items are out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible.

 

BACK ORDERED PRODUCTS

If any items are out of stock, we will notify you as soon as possible.  If that item will become available soon, it will be shipped as soon as possible.  If the item is no longer available, a refund for that item will be credited to your charge account. 

 

DAMAGED PRODUCT POLICY

Any damaged item will be replaced.

All shipments must be opened and inspected upon delivery.   We are not responsible for damages reported 12 days or more after the ship date.

 

 CANCELLATION POLICY

If you decide to cancel your order, contact us immediately by email or phone to determine the status of your order.

Orders can only be cancelled if they have not yet been shipped.

Any refusal of an order upon receipt will not constitute a return.

 

REFUND / RETURN POLICY

 All returns for any reason must be sent back within 12 days of receipt.

 Please notify us by email or phone in order to request a refund or return authorization.  All returns and refunds must be authorized by BestOrnaments.com.

 All non-defective merchandise will incur a 20% restocking fee at our discretion.
